Reluctantly selling two Buddha harps... one in the key of G and the other in C. Both with dymonwood combs and are set up for OBs but not ODs. Asking $350 per harp. Email me at scott@scottalbertjohnson.com if interested.
Making room for baby #3 sale…I cleaned out the close and can part with the following…
Line 6 M9 – I broke the original power supply, so this comes with an aftermarket one. Everything is 100% working order and the pedal is in great shape. There is Velcro on the bottom for a pedal board. I do not have the original box. These list around $399 new. This is a hard one for me to let go of! $250 shipped
Hetrick 42 Custom Harmonica Case – This has minor wear and tear, but works great…looks pretty much brand new. They run $144.99 new. $100 plus shipping
VHT Special 6 Stock Speaker - $10 plus the cost of shipping…I have it in an Eminence Box ready to ship. Forgot I had this and have absolutely no need whatsoever for it.
Thunder Stomp Acrylic Stomp Box – I paid $140 for this and tried using it 2-3 times. It appears to be in full working order. The ball sometimes squeaks a bit if you don’t have something solid underneath it (ie, don’t use it on carpet) and I never tried running it with a preamp, etc. $95 shipped
Danelectro DJ12 Chili Dog – Comes with original box (no power supply). They are $39 new. $25 shipped
I am willing to take Best Offer on any of these. The only items I'd be at all interested in for trade are a Lone Wolf Harp Attack, Sennheiser MD 441, or custom harmonicas from the Filisko Guild or Spiers, and that's about it. I really have no need for any more music gear.
2x ESC Zippers – just like the Chauvet LED Colorstrips, but better functionality and lower cost. I have stands and mounting for both and neither has been used more than 2-3 times. New, the whole rig ran $500. I’d like to sell the pair, necessary cables, and stands for $350.
2x QSC K10’s and stands – This package ran $1,500 new. The 10’s are in very good shape, but they are used and show signs of wear. $1,000
1x Proel Flash15SA Powered Sub – I paid $528. The shell shows some signs of wear, but it works perfectly - $328
4x Chauvet Rain38 LED cans and controller and Chauvet Obey 3 light controller – three of the cans work perfectly. One only works for the color “white” as a dip switch, which can be repaired, is not working right. Currently, they are mounted to the top of the QSC K10’s for front lighting. This ran me near $400 new. $200
1x Peavey PV14 Mixer – They run $300 new and this one is in fantastic shape and has the original box. $200
1x Line 6 XDR955 Wireless vocal mic – Purchased new for around $300. I used it a handful of times with no issues. I have the original packaging on this one too. $195
I will sell you the whole lot of PA gear for $2,000. Thanks! ---------- Custom Harmonicas
I have four hip short-sleeve, button-front, retro/lounge/bowling type shirts I'm looking to get rid of. All are size XL. All are black with various strips, etc. An instant hipster blues harp wardrobe for ya!
Make me an offer. Paypal sale to someone in Europe greatly preferred. E-mail me for pics, etc. mnessmith AT gmail DOTTT com.
Reshape your reeds! This is a sturdy tool designed for focusing pressure onto any part of a reed. Use it to reach into an assembled harp and reshape a reed or work on a reed with the reedplate off the comb. It can also be used as a first-class gapping tool.
Made of solid brass and measuring about four inches (9 - 10 cm) long, it feels comfortable in your hand. The rounded ends are gentle and will not scratch the reeds. This tool can make reshaping reeds much easier. Ideal for use on all brands of harmonicas.
Dual head reed wrench
Get one wrench to work on ALL harmonicas! Most reed wrenches available are made to fit only one kind of harmonica's reed pad. I make a reed wrench that works on all popular diatonic harps.
The small end fits all Hohner reeds as well as Seydel reeds. The bigger end works on Lee Oskar and Suzuki reeds. You can use it to torque off a spot-welded Suzuki reed from the reed plate as well as centering a new Suzuki reed that has been attached to the reed plate with a screw. These are hand-made and nothing fancy, but both sides work well and have a nice snug fit.
Please note: the wrench in the photo above has an embossing point. I no longer make them that way. See below.
Reed wrench with embossing point
Full-length slot embossing can be easy! The embossing point is effective on stainless steel as well as brass reed plates. I recommend using a generous amount of mineral oil when using this tool. If you over-emboss a slot, the presence of oil also speeds up the process of plinking and clearing away burs. The oil is easily washed away after the embossing is complete.
The tool can be groomed with some fine sandpaper once per day to keep it in working order for a very long time - at least several hundred harps. You won't have to worry about wearing it out.
The bottom edge of the embossing point is rounded to allow it to make a nice embossed ridge. The side edge is made flat to lean up against the reed at its base and help you keep the tool straight. The animation below demonstrates how I groom the tool with sandpaper:

*Plastzote Insert - We don''t use any ordinary insert to protect your harmonicas and other equipment. We use plastazote(available in other colors), an incredible foam unlike anything you have probably seen before. The highest quality foam on the market today, shock absorbant, mold resistant, waterproof, non flaking and does not affect the taste of your harmonicas. All our inserts are made to measure and each individual slot or space is custom cut to the exact size model of each harmonica/mic/etc which ensures all your gear will fit perfectly, fully protected and won''t move even when upside down.

harpmac posted this in the old For Sale: 2012, so I thought I would move it up to here. These are RARE. I think Michael Rubin has one. Learning to play it is beyond my ambition (and most playing I have found is not in my style), but I hope someone good who is motivated buys it.
