In Stuart's (the organiser) own words:
//'Still some places left at the Harpin by the Sea Festival in Hove, next Saturday February 2nd! A day of workshops, a jam session and an evening concert, including a rare UK performance by our special guest Steve Baker.
If you have a friend who has always wanted to play harmonica, this is a great chance for Total Beginners to learn some good basic techniques with the highly regarded teacher and player Richard Taylor. For Players, it's a chance to have a workshop with 'Harmonica Master' Steve Baker + workshops with Chicago and Contemporary player Darren Causton and Country Blues player Will Greener. Plus, this year we also have a day of workshops with Keith Charnley, for folk who aren't beginners, but do not feel ready for the more advanced workshops.
All takes place at the large and friendly Brunswick pub in Hove, with it's excellent music room and upstairs teaching rooms.
++ Sutherland Trading have been very generous in supporting our free entry raffle, with a Hohner Service Kit specifically as a raffle prize for Players workshops participants and 2 Crossovers, 1 Thunderbird, 2 Flexracks + Tee shirts and more! as prizes for the all workshop participants raffle.
Fee for a Day of Workshops £17.50 / £14.00 concessions - NHL members qualify for concession rate! Evening Concert featuring Steve Baker + Blues Deluxe - Chicago / Texas Blues + Will Greener - Country Blues £8.00 / £6.00 concessions - includes all workshop participants + NHL members
