Apart from the enjoyment of playing blues I’m getting a kick out of playing classic melodies. Here are two very expressive slow songs for harp.
The first is Moon River played over a slow backing track in first position on a C harp.
The second is a song called Oblivion by the Argentinean Tango composer Astor Piazzolla which I think I’m playing in 3rd position on a Bb harp but with a non-tango rhythm.
Kieron man, you are clearly one of the most soulful, and skillful, diatonic harp players I've ever had the joy of hearing. And the emotion that you manage to express through that little tin sandwich is nearly beyond belief. Such depth, and such exquisite beauty is a true gift to anyone who hears your sublime sounds.
OK. Sorry for gushing. Well, no I'm not really. There's just so much shite around, that something like your music deserves to be gushed over. And experienced. Thanks.
