I don't know if this has been posted, but it's fantastic juicy stuff:

Here's an LA times piece on Aki that told me a few things I didn't know.

Lead in line; " When it comes to blues harmonica, it’s all or nothing at all. In the wrong hands, the harp becomes a weapon of mass distraction, a screeching annoyance that can completely destroy any song."

So true! Some many harp players need a new asshole torn out of them, right?

I move that we consider Aki Kumar for inclusion on the Honorable Mention list of great harmonica players. Anyone second the motion?
