After the shock revelation that SRV played on Let's Dance (everyone else knew it seems) I went on a quick tour to find the most harp on a Bowie song. At the time I would have had no idea who SRV was anyway.
My current contender is 'Unwashed and Somewhat Slightly Dazed' from...well...the LP I knew as his 2nd album 'Space Oddity', but I now read that was a re-release, and was originally called 'David Bowie'. A similar name to his 1st album 'David Bowie'.
Any raise on Unwashed and Somewhat Slightly Dazed?
(Rubber Band from the 1st album definitely has the most Tuba on it...but that's for another forum)

Not sure if it has the "most" harp but The Jean Genie comes to mind. There's a live version on youtube somewhere where Bowie whips out the harp himself and blows. That's sure to raise the ire of some of the forum's blues diehards who don't feel a rocker is worthy unless he can draw and blow bend, overblow etc., but I thought he did a great job. I love the song, it totally rocks. Think it's in E. I jam along to it alot.

Black Country Rock? That's on The Man Who Sold the World isn't it? I was looking forward to it, but when I played there was no harmonica I could hear. Did you mean another song?
