For $10 it might be worth taking a shot on one. Maybe he's trying to build up a customer base or liquidate stock.

Harps generally are more expensive in Australia than the US however compared to Euro prices we fare pretty well.

The harps on ebay are in all likelihood liquidated stock.

Usual ball park new prices are:

Lee Oskars AUD $59.95 = US $53.95
Hohner Sp20, MB & Blues Harps AUD $55 = US $49.50
Big River AUD $39.95 = US $35.95
Crossover AUD $92 = US $82.80
Manji AUD $75 = US $67.50
Harpmaster AUD $32 = US $28.80
Bluesmaster AUD $38 = US $34.20
Promaster AUD $75 = US $67.50

A few years back it used to be worthwhile purchasing 3 to 5 harps from the US ie before the GFC & when the A$ was on a par with the US$. Things have changed especially the cost of freight which now makes small purchases not worthwhile.

yeah NOD as Jeffrey Lebowski would put it "new shit has come to light". when i posted it 3 weeks ago he had good feedback and was posting from cbd. since then the inconsistancies you point out have appeared. i paid by paypal and am almost certain i will get a refund. so yeah with that and the 20-20 hindsight you have laid on me i expect to WAKE! UP! with my money back but no harps, having wasted a bit of time.
for everyone who bought harps make sure you leave your negative feedback within a month and claim your refund through paypal within 60 days.

Hi Guys,
I'll support conjob with his observation of MandoHarp. I have purchased many harps from Dane in the past 12 months. Also, I caught up with owner Dane Clarke late last year when I was up in Nambucca Heads.
He gives great service, is competitive and reliable.
Dane also plays harp, guitar etc and is part of an active band.
He gets all of my business.

This shop in Sydeny was selling MBs for A$48 last time I checked (got one for A$40 during a sale!) Also get a MB Deluxe for A$70 a couple of months ago. If you are in Northwest Sydney they are worth a try.

(I am not associated with them in any way)
