What a treat Mike Peliquin walks into the back door of our Wed night gig in a local pub called Dr Diggers in Champaign IL ... I met him one other time in another local spot in town .. called the Iron Post and we played that night too ... I saw that he was going to hang so i did one of my 2 songs a night .. Being a sideman you get 2 tunes a night .... so i did Digging My Potatos .. Cotton style ... 3 pos .. A harp in the key of B ... Tore it up ... We did one more tune and took a break ... I got to talk to Mike for a bit ... He told me there was a breakthrough in the B Rad Reed profile ... Secret stuff .this week .. there always upgrading ... that is a great thing ....we started the second set and he came right up ... With his Sax ...man it was great to hear him ... Then the band went into Wang Dang Doodle .. and i went to have a smoke ... And i can hear some Smokin Harp coming from my rig ... Im so glad he felt confortable using my rig ... and he tore it up .... He said my rig was like those new cars with a race car trans in it ... It plays smooth and when he punched open the volume knob ... it Smoked .... Stock RI 59 Baseman with u7's on the end ....and my 1949 CM Black Tape .....What a great guy and a amazing player ..... Im glad he came out to see us and hang ...What a great night .....

Music is your own experience, your own thoughts, your wisdom. If you don't live it, it won't come out of your horn. They teach you there's a boundary line to music. But, man, there's no boundary line to art. - Charlie Parker
