Yeah, that is bad news. Hopefully, someone will buy it from Mr Timler. Wasn't it owned by someone else before?

Their prices were always too high anyway... I hope for some grand sale.

It was a very unique site for a long time and had stuff no one else had. Michael Timler helped set up the tool kit for Seydel, which is very similar to the one he sells on Harponline, and those tools aren't the usual cheap, Chinese made crap you see in many of those harp tool kits because a number of those tools are made by Wiha, which is a professional grade toolmaker on the same level as companies like SpapOn and Matco, which makes high grade, professional quality tools for automotive mechanics.

I have the toolkit and can assure it's a must-have if you own more than 12 harmonicas.

Wooohahaa??! how did I miss that? It really is time for a new BYBO... needless to say, I'm in. :)

This 'everything goes' rule is pretty cool too.

bbq, jim, is it the 'basic toolset' you're talking about? I'm pretty sure I have most of these tools but probably payed no more than 50€ instead of 150€ in total.

Some of their prices might be high, but they often have good offers which I liked to make use off.

I think it's a great site. Lot's of good info, and unique stuff you couldn't get elsewhere (like parts).
