Adam and blues guitarist @ Blue Front Cafe

Shortly after I got a set of Farmer Foot Drums in the mail, I decided to drive down to Bentonia, Mississippi for the Bentonia Blues Festival and try out my new one-man band thing on a juke joint crowd. Here I'm sitting in at the legendary Blue Front Cafe with _____ Holmes (I never did learn his first name), the brother of Blue Flame owner Jimmy "Duck" Holmes. It was 95 degrees outside and hotter than that inside. Everybody was drinking cold beer and fanning themselves. (July 2009)
