OK, I finally got a video up--in response to Geordiebluesman's Gussow song challenge--which he put up a while back.

Geordie has written some lyrics--which I changed around a bit --then I put a little music to the thing and made it into a song. Today I posted a vid on the youtube. There is no harp with the song--mainly because I am still pretty bad at playing harp with a rack--but I left some instrumental breaks for you all to add in the harp for yourselves--the key is E--so use an A harp for cross.

I might have gotten a little excited on this one and sped up a little as the song progresses--but it is about as good as I can do nowadays--I'm actually just an electrician with a bluesman's heart!

Anyway, here's the link. Please be respectful and kind!

I hope you enjoy the song--if you don't--then it's all Geordiebluesmans fault--if you do--then I'll take all the credit for it, since I had to play the guitar and do all the special effects and everything.

Respects to Adam Gussow--the real man behind the intent of this song. . .

Thanks for all the good words, Geordie and eharp--it's gratifying to know that my efforts were appreciated.

I'll be looking forward to hearing your Dissmisin Missin Blues vid, Geordie--now I gotta go re-read that thread so I'll know what the inspiration was.

I can't wait to hear it.

The idea for it was just too obvious to pass by.

So I was practicing last might with my video cam on and I recorded a harp part that was pretty much the melody that I wrote the music for "White Boy" from--and I went on and posted it on the YT. This is my maiden voyage with putting harp playing on--and it's just a practice vid--but, what the hell--you gotta start somewhere and Geordiebluesman inspired me to do something harpy. . .

It might not be great--but it sure is fun to play!
