So I'm a completely new player (only about two weeks now and only 3 days with a decent sounding harp) and I was wondering: What exactly should I be doing as a warm up/ practice to be a better harp player? I am currently doing Adam's 2 hole draw for 7 beats and then open up and let it all out for one beat. Also I am practicing the one hole draw. Also I've been playing some scales but I'm having a hard time knowing which scales to play.

thanks a ton

work on picking out simple songs on the harp. taps, o'suzanna, three blind mice...

they should all begin around 4 blow.

there is a recent thread here about practicing. you might find some value in it.

dont forget to stretch during warm ups. you dont want to pull a hamstring!
