Friends:

A harp player in Belgium has written to me, telling me that he often has trouble accessing my website. Have any of you had similar trouble? Although I'm my own webmaster, I have nothing to do with server capacity; I purchase the "space," the whole templated portal, from a place called www.MacWebsiteBuilder.com. I've been very happy with them; they made it possible for a complete novice (me) to create this site, tweaking and adjusting it as I go.

The site has always loaded quickly for me, but I've got a DSL line. I have no idea what sort of internet access this person has.

In any case, please let me know. I'll be happy to hear good feedback (i.e., "No problems at all!") as problems.

I've never had any problems. And because the board is very basic, it loads exceptionally fast.

It would be more fun if it had avatars and were able to post pictures/videos like most other boards, though.

I have never had any problems with the site. But I do think that having a forum search feature would be nice.

I second that. There was a couple times I was looking for an older thread. And what typically is a 7 second pain-free process, took almost 10 minutes of laborious searching through every thread the board has.

Hi Adam!

I come by this page every day and I've never had any problems with it. Not here and not when buying your lessons. I've almost bought every lesson and never had any problems with anything!

I have never had any trouble loading this site, and I too have downloaded several lessons from *THE STORE* vie trade bit. I have never had any problem with any...except one.

About three weeks ago I bought the backing track download.
and could not get it. I e-mailed trade bit they said to make sure I was set to accept cookies. I kept working on it till it said I had exceeded 8 tries, locked me out!

E-mailed trade bit once or twice more and they said it was not a problem with them. They were just passing on the file. If I wanted a refund...bla...bla... I have bought one or two lessons since then with no problem.

I'm going to email MacWebsiteBuilders right now and ask about avatars and a search function.

PS: Although file sales work 99.8% of the time, occasionally a problem crops up. I'm always 100% happy to refund the purchase price of any file that causes a problem. But since Tradebit collects the receipts, they are actually the ones who refund.

If anybody has a problem, contact Tradebit first. If they can't resolve it, please email me (asgussow@aol.com) and I'll forward that email to them and approve a refund. It's an improvised refund system, I realize, but it does work.

My disappointment, I fear, has been misunderstood.
I did not grow up in the computer age. My 16 year old Daughter can text message without looking at the keypad.
At 16, it was 45's, 78's and i'm pretty sure we still had a black and white TV.

There was a good chance the problems I had were a result of something I did or didn't do. I tried to explane that to trade bit, and asked them if they could help.
They kept sending me a "form letter" response.

I have recieved hours of enjoyment and first class instruction from the lessons I have downloaded from Modern Blues Harmonica. (bought " next time you see me" last night) It actually has the feel of private lessons, From one of the great players of our time.
My disapointment and frustration was rooted in the realization that I was not able to get the jam track.
I never wanted a refund. I think in my last e-mail to trade bit, I asked them if there was another way I could get the track, or if they could mail it to me.
Figured Adam had bigger fish to fry than fooling around with stuff like this.

Other that the hosting company "site down for maintenance" I got in the wee hours one time, no problems.
