Just found Adam's site a couple months ago and it has inspired me to try and learn this thing for the 3rd or 4th time. Retired and living in the middle of wine country on the Central Coast maybe I'll pull it off this time. Plenty of wine and free time! Hmmmmmmm.

Anyway, any players or jams or good clubs in the area? I see Rod Piazza is playing at the fair later this month. I plan to be there for sure.

I'm in Paso Robles, halfway between SF and LA.

I think Jon Gindick is living in Malibu now--he is pretty much a globetrotter now with his Jam Camps--but you might take a look at gindick.com and see what he might have going fairly close to your area. I got started with one of his books--then discovered Adam on YouTube a couple of weeks later--

I'm in SLO, playing regular in Grover and elsewhere in area. Moved here from chicago area 3 years ago.
In two bands now, but looking to front my own deep chicago/delta/WC swing band.
