I'm sure a lot of us have those tiny 4 hole harmonicas. My favorite was included in the Aerosmith "Honkin' on Bobo" CD. Are there any good songs to play on them? I usually do the intro to Billy Joel's "Billy the Kid." Another good trick is to palm one in your hand, hold your regular harp to your ear, squeeze your nose closed, make a face like you're trying to expel air through your closed nose and mouth (but you really have the little lady between your lips), and blow a note or two. It looks like you're blowing air through your ear into your harp.

Don't have one, it sounds like a cool trick though. A kid thinks your a god if you can play a harp from your ear!

Yea, those little harps are great! I have a Hohner hanging from my rear view mirror in my car.
I used one at a gig one time. I wrote a quick 'ramblin' folk song called "The Tiny Harmonica Song" and did it at a gig. Lots of laughs.

You could also use it to do the train song, although you could only use the 4 hole for the "choo choo" part. Also this reminded me of one of Mr. Gussow's early lessons where he showed how to play a solo part with just the first three holes. ---------- "Without music, life would be a mistake" -Nietzsche
