For those of you (like me) that need to do a lot of listening...

Make sure you check out Pandora.com if you haven't already.

You can start a 'personal radio station' based on, for example, James Cotton. You'll soon get exposed to a lot of artists you didn't know about that resemble James Cotton in some way or another.

I'm finding lots of stuff I didn't know existed.

I myself use Pandora and I love it- If I may make station recommendations, I've found that Paul Butterfield radio and James Cotton radio have become favorites of mine, as well as Muddy Waters radio, Ray Charles radio, and James Brown radio.

I literally have it on here at work all day, every day. I've discovered so many great artists I never would have stumbled upon if it wasn't for Pandora. They have a very eclectic selection.

Check out Last.fm (http://www.last.fm/) they do the same i think and they're available outside the US

You fill in an artist into a box and it plays you songs of all artists that might sound similar to the one you entered
