Any of you on the forum that live within driving distance of Birmingham should go to Mr. Gip's next Saturday night to support Satan and Adam. I thought Adam sounded great on You Tube. You should hear him live!! Who's coming??

This changed from them playing at The Burly Earl? What happened to that one? This Mr. Gips looks cooler. Where exactly is it? I'm in Birmingham and I've never heard of it. -Bob

Yes, the Burly Earl shut its doors last weekend, but the Magic City Blues Society has come to the rescue.
Mr. Gip's Juke Joint (www.myspace.com/gipsjukejoint) is in Bessemer, and it's supposed to be the raw real deal.
For directions, please email our blues society benefactor: Roger Stephenson (rjs44@charter.net). He can email you directions. You'll definitely want to have them in hand before you go.

Wow. What a show that was! Mr. Gip's was just about the coolest place I've ever been. Satan and Adam were great and the crowd was a good one.
Gary, I was nice to meet you and your family, there. Thanks for the beers and the gig light! It will come in handy. -Bob
