Does anybody know of some good cuts that are in minor keys?

George Smith plays some great chromatic harp minor blues, like in "Last Night". Charlie Musselwhite plays some blues that sound very much like they're minor but I think hes still playing them 2nd position on a normal harp (like "In Your Darkest Hour" and "Christo Redemptor").

St. James Infirmary is. Some people consider it a more jazzy track, but it sounds bluesy to me as well.
The head is all third position, but can be played cross harp as well.

I just tried St James Infirmary 2nd pos on a new Lee Oskar Natural Minor in Am. Havn't got it all going yet but what I can get so far, I think, sounds good. Lee Oskar refers to them as the missing link in blues. I really like what they do for me so much so that I will be ordering other minor keys.

(my music is best understood by children & animals-Stravinsky)

Yeah, Aussiesucker--I love my LO minor D harp. I can hold it out the window with my car going about 50 and it plays Summertime--at 65 it plays Scarborough Fair!

WOW Oldwailer incredible. Im willing to learn so I tried it at all speeds and I could not get it to play Summertime. But then I realised you guys drive on the wrong side of the road! Try driving on the other side at 100 kilometers an hour and hold it out the window and it should play Waltzing Matilda. If it doesn't then you need to get a new harp or perhaps new car *#@*+t!

A great example of a minor blues in first position (key of Ab, Ab harp), is "Murder in the First Degree" on Rod Piazza's "Live at B.B. King's" C.D. Beautiful 1st position solo.

All I get is "Roadkill Blues" at a 110 with my eyes closed while texting on my cellphone and watching Satan and Adam youtube videos on my iPod.

Maybe I'll try a Seydel...

I definitely appreciate the info and I love third position harmonica, but I'm also looking for cuts where the entire band is in the minor key. Are there any more suggestions out there?
