Anybody have experience with this? I think it would be fun to walk the audience a bit. I know Jason Ricci uses like an SM57 with a Samson Wireless transmitter, but I don't want to get a new mic. I'm wondering if anyone has tried to use a wireless system like a guitar player uses? I'd just plug the 1/4 from my Hi-Z mic into a female/female adapter and into the wireless transmitter pack. Do the guitar wireless rigs have the proper frequency response range needed for harp?

I use the AKG WMS40 but with the snap on adapter. It works better than the Samson unit Jason uses but you can no longer get them in the states.
The guitar bug is the same thing but with a 1/4" plug. Rosco Selley uses the bug.

Chris, what mic are you using? How do you hook it to the transmitter? My mic is wired with a 1/4 inch that I just run into my delay and then to my amp.

Chris, another question.
Is there anything else to what out for with this kind of set up?
Are there any additional feedback issues?
How do you like the AKG unit that you're currently running?

I use the EV RE-10.
There are fewer feedback issues with this set up as everything line level signal - at least that's true for my set up.
When I told Ricci the Samson unit sucked compared to mine he argued with me about it... then he got one himself and that what he was using for awhile. When I saw him last week he was on the samson unit but I didn't ask why.
