Thanks to the suggestion of a web-savvy participant from Philly, I've just added a Google search engine to this forum. It's on the last page of my website. It seems to work very well with certain search terms (overblows, tongueblocking) and not as well with others (tone). It's the best I can do--and a heck of a lot better than what we had.

I've just been testing out the forum search engine. It works great with the names of specific players (Little Walter, Jason Ricci, Butterfield), but not as well with certain brands: Fender, surprisingly, doesn't register a single result, although Bassman does OK.
Please use this thread to post suggestions for searches that work and don't work. There's nothing I can do to modify the thing, I don't think, but still: information will help us figure out what works.

2 draw bend... slow blues.. worked pretty smooth...

Nice Search Tool. Here are some search options:
*Music/ Harmonica Theory
*Sheet Music
*Gindick
*Emrouchure doesn't seem to work. If you use (Embouchure), this works well.
*Licks
Anyone else think of some?

Is this thing broken? I tried searching for "Jason Ricci" and it didn't give any results. Thinking maybe it was a name thing, I tried:
"Gruenling", "Walter", "Cotton"
No luck.
Tried simple words like blue, 1st, position, draw.
Nothing.
Anybody else having problems?

Adam: Food for thought, most hosting packages include some sort of forum option. As a rule they are pretty good. Perhaps your web host has one that you can migrate this forum over too?

Ahhh, it's my fault. At the advice of a web guru, I changed all my website's URLs. This must have messed up the search tool. When I've got time, I'll create a new one. Sorry--and thanks for letting me know.
