I am looking to get a high-impedance mic, I am in a hurry to get it so I want to get some thing of the shelf that is available from the UK.
The only two mics that I can find are the shaker dynamic mic and the new shure green bullet, what mic gives the better sound andis the shure worth the extra money, it seems to be twice the price.
Are there any other High-impedance available in the uk that I should be looking at?

Another option you could think about. Use any low impedance mic with a mic impedance matching transformer. When last I looked a transformer was about £10. The mic I first used was a Shure SM-57 and transformer.

Do not buy the new green bullet but find one of the old ones. They are heavy and usually have no volume pot but you can fit one. You will pay over £100 for this
The shaker dynamic is a good mic but needs regular cleaning. It is very light and easy to handle and has a lovely round full tone without being harsh at all.
Hope this helps

I think a dual impedance version of the Shure 545 is still being made - it can be very easily made hi-Z - has a standard XLR connector, a switch and is IMHO way better sounding than one of the new Green Bullets and the horrible, weak, tinny sounding new incarnation of the Blues Blaster.
