I use this with a fender blues junior & delay

Good points:

Easy & light to hold
Looks great
good volume control
loud cutting sound - ideal for blasting off an over-loud lead guitar
Not inclined to feedback
Good for Jazz

Bad points

Expensive, I paid £130.00 over $200
Sound is harsh compared to dynamic mics, sounds a bit like a tenor sax
Not a round sound but angular

Anyone out there got one of these babies??

Great web site Adam and greetings to all from UK

Hi I was thinking of getting one of those.
Any chance of a sound sample on the tube to convince me.
Cheers

Yah! I have one.... harmonicanick You're Right on the analysis of the Mic. Tho mine cost me around $100 US when I got it last year.. Have a Cystal element (silver dollar size) jammed in a piece of open-celled-foam (No Volume control) But sounds just as good... Just aint pretty,
