Just like to find out from other players, how do you manage to change/hold and have all your harps available on stage? I am not a fan of the belt or vest, so I usally just prop my case on top of a chair.

Hiya,

I bought a keyboard stand which folds out into x shape and made myself an oblong table top with o clips which I just push on to the 2 top bars. This is made of plywood and has a raised edge all the way round. The stand and top fit into an old Casio keyboard case I had in the attic.

The top is painted black and I have stuck key index stickers along the top.

So on arrival I put table up and put harps on each sticker, there is room also for the set list and I put a pen torch by the side too. I have a mic clip which screws onto the bside of the table and also I hang a towel from another hook. Still room for my cleaning towel with a small atomiser full with isopropyl alcohol which I wipe the harps with before use and this kills all germs!!

The above is for amplified gigs. If it is acoustic then I just have a wonderful leather case for 14 harps made by Cumberland custom cases of the US of A which was given me for my birthday. Jeffery Spoor is the man at www.cumberlandcustomcases.com

Hope this helps you find a solution (I don't like belts either)
