Hi Harpers,i just wanted to tell you guy's about a harp customiser i have just bought from in England called Antony Dannecker,he sells a good range of customised harps at very competetive prices, but what really impressed me was the speed and efficancy of the whole set up.I bought a Speacial 20 in A which arrived 2 days later but with a sticky 4 blow reed.I complained by E-Mail and the harp was returned, fixed and posted back within 3 days with no fuss and no drama and it now plays great. It's a shame the harp was flawed in the first place, but these things happen,What mark's out the quality from the also ran's in my opinion is how they deal with problems and these guys were great,i just thought they deserved a plug.

how much? and wouldnt a site or email be a good idea if we want to inquire into a purchase? or are you keeping him as your private customizer? pretty selfish!

Are are the special 20's that he sells really custom harps?
It looks to me like most of the harps he sells are just tuned. I bought a special 20 from anthony and it does sound and play well, but it doesn't seen that there have been any other modifications to the harp.
If I think of a custom harmonica I think of something with the sort of modifications that brad harrison makes.
Anthony does sell some different combinations of MS harps and also sells his danaker blues harp with his own design of comb.

Hi Guys,Opps sorry about the lack of a link to the Dannecker web site, thats what happens when you go online with a hangover!.I don't really know what is done during the customising process but i do know that the harp plays great,it's super responsive and requires minimal effort to play you can really fly around it, and to me playabilty is all that matters P.S. thanx to stephan for posting the link
