Now, I'm pretty sure its the harp, but you never know. I was going over one of Adam's first lessons, and he stated the importance of the 2 hole draw. So, I'm in my car, and I try the two hole draw on my A Bushman. Its just so-so. I move down to the 1 draw: no problem, nice and clear. 3 draw? Loud and clear. I had problems with the gapping on this harp when I bought it: should I gap the 2 draw as well? I'm getting the note, just not loud and clear.

Bushmans are normally OK because they use the Suzuki reedplate with the spot welded reeds which is usually reliable. Maybe the reed has got some gunk on it and it needs cleaning. Are you saying it has been OK and just got worse or has it always been like that? If so some gentle regapping could be in order.

I think its always been like this. Its not real bad, and I don't notice it unless I compare it to the 1 and 3 draw.

2hole draw very often causes problems for beginners. More than likely it's your technique...
