Hey Y'all. My main Blues band has been hosting a disciplined, but open Blues jam every Tuesday in Arroyo Grande, CA at SLO Down Pub: an upscale wine, beer, and art gallery ( www.slodownpub.com for details ). Small stage, but we have the mic's, amps, skins, and even a BABY GRAND PIANO! Any harper's can play through my rig, but bring your own at your lugging pleasure!
In one short month, it has become quite popular. We get a decent compliment of tasteful guitar players that know the drill. ( OK, I had one space cadet that I pulled the plug on. )
Last night was the best yet. Did some B.B., Stevie Ray, Clapton, Muddy, Robert Johnson, and I got to sing "Too Many Dirty Dishes" and "Groanin' Blues". Had 'em melting in their seats! ( the boys hit the hard break PERFECT ).
