"Lucas sticks in my musical memory as a talent in his own right, a superb harmonica player and good slide guitarist who honored the blues and its traditions, yet was creative enough to stretch the form to express his own physical and internal being."

Joshua Dutton is a master of the harmonica, able to make the instrument's series of tiny metal reeds sing a warbling, gritty blues that reeks of a bayou bar.

This Harmonica Poem was found searching Harmonica in the News: website at the bottom
Harmonica man blows a sweet sound and creates one hot blues,
He plays for the audience, the people, the lovers, the married and unmarried couples who sway with the music and ask for more.
Harmonica man, what do you feel, what do you think? Why are you sad, when everybody is shouting, dancing and having fun?
Harmonica man, were you ever in love? If so, where is your chick? your mama? your main squeeze?
Why is she not here to see you and hear you play a mean hot blues?
The people dance the jitterbug, dance the chicken scratch, Move their feet and hips to the sound of a hot harmonica beat,
While he stares at a wall Crying and singing ...
Baby ... don't look now ... don't look now ...
But I got the blues ...
