Hey just joined! great forum! adam you are very cool for giving your knowledge to all us fellow bluesmen.
i know you did a couple of lessons way back in your car where you talked a little about doctor ross and the 2 hole draw(machine language).I found it really useful as i had just got back into playing his stuff. Problem is i just can never get the feel he does on his main riffs on the 2 hole draw.I was wonderin` and worryin`(excuse the pun) if you could at some point in the future do an internet lesson dedicated to the DOCTOR again.
Thank so much adam, your helping me a whole lot to keep the downhame blues alive in england!

I'm glad I've got a fellow admirer of Dr. Ross on board. He is one of the underrated guys. Incredible combination of syncopation and tone. He was very important to me.
There's a lesson on his "Going Back South" available in The Store. I'll make a note and try to do something on him on YouTube, by and by.

Hi Jimmy,
I downloaded the lesson from the store that Adam mentions, on the recommendatin of Oldwailer I think - it delivers the goods. This lesson will get you up and about with the Dr Ross style in no time.

Might be an idea to play left handed with a rack ! So the Good Dr Ross did it all - upside down - back to front - and no hands Ma! Check out Dr Ross Live in 65 on YouTube . What a player !!
