I was at a Mark Hummell Harmonica Blowout. Jerry Portnoy had the stage. He asked the audience what one American was most responsible for spreading blues around the world. Various peoples names were shouted from the audience. Jerry waited a bit, said we were all wrong. It was George W. Bush. LOL

I think eharp was right...the last time the Bears went undefeated was when there was only four teams in the league and they only played six games (I think Sid Luckman was quaterback).

Only the 1972 Miami Dolphins have gone undefeated since the AFL-NFL merger.

Oh, by the way, didn't William "The Fridge" Perry blow some harp on the Super Bowl Shuffle video back in 1985? Maybe he was just eating a candy bar, I couldn't tell.

Just Kidding! I have always loved Walter Payton. He was a class act.

And what would Muddy Waters and "Chicago Blues" be without Chicago?

Hey eharp,

I am a Michigander, too. I live near Michigan's west coast (near Grand Rapids). How's the blues scene doing around Detroit? What good blues clubs around you do you recommend when I am out that way?

I saw The Alligators this summer when they came around here. I spoke with Dale the harp player. I think it was his birthday, or something.

Go Lions!

Tuckster, thanks for sharing that! I laughed. :)

I wonder if anyone else got that joke.

George W. Bush Jr sure as hell did cause a hell lot of blues. ;)

By the way, anyone saw the foreword Obama wrote for Living Blues magazine? The previous one with Buddy Guy on the cover. I thought that was kinda cool... but obviously part of his campaign.
