I'm going to purchase one of Adam's Jam Tracks. For those of you who have already purchased them both, which would you suggest would be best for an Advanced Beginner to start with?
- The Gussow/Hilbert Jam Tracks, OR
- The Play Along Sessions, with the 1 hour video tutorial

I'm leaning towards the Play Along Sessions, as I think the video tutorial will help me the most, but would be curious to hear other opinions.

Thank you.

Definitly the Play-Along Sessions. Not only do you get the tutorial, but you also get a good variety of styles to play with.

they are different.

the original jam trax is good if you have some licks and improv skills. it is fun to play along with some standards. it gives you a chance to think about the next riff during charlie's singing.

the play-along trax and video will give you some ideas on how to play with different rhythms and tempos. there are no vocals. with this one i have trouble remembering i dont have to play for the entire song. i have been attempting to add my own lyrics to the songs.
