What's the deal with this film? The site has been up forever and no update on what the heck is going on. It was supposed to release in mid 08. Here we are a little more than a month away from 09 and not a word. The status still says in production.

This looks like a great movie. I just saw Magic Dick, Rick Estrin, Lee Oskar and Mark Hummel at a harmonica blowout here in Seattle and it looks as though they will be in this movie too. Can't wait to see it!

Sounds a great movie for us Harp enthusiasts. Hope its released on DVD from day 1 as there are so few harp players here that it is unlikely to be shown in any theatre let alone on TV? Love to get hold of one as soon as it is released.

I've seen quite a bit of the movie during a harmonica party I attended in Beverly Hills when they were there to interview Tommy Morgan, Bill Barrett and me. Much of it seems to have Jason Ricci in various venues. There were many nice clips of Charlie Musselwhite, Sugar Blue, Howard Levy, John Popper, LD Miller, Lee Oskar and many others.
They filmed me playing classical music of all things. I really wanted them to catch me playing jazz or doing my thing with my effects rig. I don't know what bits of me will be in there but it's sure to be cool from what I've seen.

I just got an email:
We are working on obtaining a distribution deal. For now, there is going to be a "sneak peak" in Houston on April 4th, and then some festivals, and potentially a DVD release this summer.
