I just posted a vid of Silent Night. This track is played on a D harp in the key of C.

I'm going to try and post one or two a week for the next few weeks. If there are any particular tunes you guys want to hear or learn let me know and I will do my best upload a vid.

Chris,

Enjoyed Silent Night very much.

Enjoyed 'Stratus' even more with Jason coming in (Rocky Mountain) with your effects board - what's that about, can you explain the effects please?

There is an explanation of the effects on the stratus vid. There is also another video that demonstrates the effects.

There are a couple of style of playing that I am into... Acoustic, Effects laden and Electric/Amped

Check you my vids with purple haze and crimson rider if you like effects.

Chris,
How about that Christmas song by John Lennon - what is it called? ..."So this is Christmas"...? I think that would be a very beautiful tune on a harp.

Chris,
First let me just say that I love the way you play harp. I would never have thought that a diatonic could be played in such a way. And I can't believe how clean your technique is. You really inspire me to work on these different positions. I'd love to hear you play "What Child is This", "We Three Kings" or something in that same traditional Christmas Carol vein. Thanks.

I second that! That really is one of the greatest Christmas songs of all time. Great suggestion! How about "The Night Santa Went Crazy" too!

I'd like to hear Sleigh Ride. I've been trying to figure it out myself but I just can't get those bends right!

Sleigh Ride a pretty tough tune on the harp. It works best in 12th position if you want to try it. I don't know that I have time to record anything right now.

I'm super busy building harps and trying to get them out for xmas. I've been sitting here since 6:30am and now it's 4am and I'm ready for bed. I've been building harps for over 20 hours today if I minus the couple of hours I toof off to have dinner with my wife.
