Greetings, fellow students of Gussow and Harp Players.

I have been saving up some very special harp mics to sell at this time of year, and many of them are on Ebay right now. Just use this link:

http://shop.ebay.com/merchant/deluxe8765

A few have already sold. but don't despair, as I will have more coming soon.

Looking for a Shure Controlled Reluctance, Controlled Magnetic, Shure 707A, Astatic JT-30, R7 Crystal, Turner, Calrad, Big Walter mic, EV 638 or 630? Or something else?

Just click on that link. If you are looking for a specific mic and don't see it, please let me know. Chances are I either have it in my basement, or can get it for you.

Happy Holidays, and Happy Harping.

Cheers,
Ron Sunshine

That is so wrong. I can't believe you just called me that. I provide a service for harp players. It is fine with me if you don't choose to partake of the service. Do not call me names, though. Thanks. A spammer would not tell you his name. My name is Ron Sunshine. I have known Adam Gussow since the 80s. I have been playing harmonica for a living for 19 years. Adam has invited me to post messages on this forum about the mics I sell. I understand that we live in a world of spammers, but you shouldn't jump to conclusions without knowing what you are talking about, or to whom you are speaking.
Cheers.

DeLuxe8765--we're trying to keep "for sale" stuff in a separate topic. I bumped it up to the top.

Ron:

I don't think Tuckster and oldwailer realized that you're my longtime friend from way, way back. About a month ago I requested--as a way of dealing with a "developing situation"--that folks confine for-sale pitches to three dedicated threads. I suspect you missed this particular development.

You're anything but a spammer, and I'm going to make an exception. Let's leave this thread as is. Everybody is allowed to make a one-time exception for an old friend.

As for the rest of you: the great and powerful Gus has spoken.

OOOOps! Looks like I stepped on my fingers, DeLuxe8765--I apologize. Any friend of The Great and Powerful Gus is OK by me!

So--got any good prices on a Madcat Ruth Shaker mic?

Hi,
Just wanted to say that I have bought several Mics and elements from Ron and have spoken to him on many occasions with regards to questions that I had about mics and for that matter Amps Music etc. He has always given me a full and complete answer and appreciates the fact that new harp players will need a comprehensive answer. He has been a pleasure to deal with and I would not hesitate in buying anything from this absolute gold mine of infromation.

Cheers Ron

"I suspect you missed this particular development."

Indeed I did. Sorry about that. And thanks for the exception, Adam. And thanks for the kind words, Oxharp.
And, sorry, I don't have any Shaker mics. I deal mostly
with vintage pieces.

I have to say that I just received a box of freshly rebuilt mics in the mail that is astounding. It is SO exciting to test out these mics, and no one would understand my excitement better than the people right here on this forum. Hoping the new owners-to-be will get many years of pleasure out of using these mics. Six additional bullets, including a few Black Label Controlled Reluctance, a mint Shure 440, an old 707 shell re-fitted with a CM element, and my old gig mic, a chrome plated 520 shell with a Black CR. I replaced it with a brushed chrome Shure 7A/Black CR, my new baby. Merry Christmas to me. Not gloating or spamming, just excited. You dig?

I should add that Ron and his band played my wedding in 2004. How could I not make an exception for an old friend whose band played my wedding? Gotta do it. :)

Hi Ron
I got the same thing when all I was trying to tell where I bought a certin harp and was called a spammer.I was only trying to help my brother harp player out.If you are selling harp equipment what is wrong with selling it here. If there is a problem with the vender everyone will know it.

OH maybe I will buy a mic from you but I only have small fender amp that I use. It is Frontman 25R I know it is not the big fancy amp bit it works for me.Right now I have the Bottle o Blues harp mic that is is great but i want 2 mics.
do you have anything for that amp
Email me please Fredrider51@aol.com

This forum is a place where harp players should help each other. And Ron is a kind of person, who can help as a lot! I've got a mic from him (Astatic 10C from 1963) and I'm extremely happy with it! What's more, Ron is a great guy, it's a pleasure to deal with him. I encourage you to search for your "dream rig" in his offer and don't blame him for posting in the wrong thread. He should get a medal for everything he is doing for us, harpers, playing great music and selling wonderful mics. What more could we expect? :)

Fredrider, I sent you an email.
Well, thanks for all of your kind words. I do the best I can. I'm happy to answer any mic questions that I CAN answer. I am by no means an expert. Just a player who knows what sounds good to my own ears.
