Adam,
I'll have a go at explaining it. You can blow bend hole 8 thru 10. Try this - Start with the tongue tip in the hole you want to bend, maybe try hole 10 on an A harp( and you'll have the Majic Dick note ) hit the unbent note and take the tip of the tongue back and towards the roof of the mouth. Hold the note, and slam your tongue down to the back of your bottom teeth and really hit it hard with some air pressure. Just keep doing this for a couple of hours and something different will happen, the note will crack, and youll have it. Once it cracks you can work on it, and it will become effortless on each hole without the force. You should be able to do it on a stock harp OK. Hope this helps.

You know what you do with your tounge when you want to do a really high pitched whistle? Kind of do the same when blowing into the harp, and it should start to bend after a while.

I started learning blow bends last night and could hit them all except 10 in 30 minutes. For me, it was all in the jaw, once I got this it became extremely effortless. I done this on a $3.00 Peidmont, I was worried about damaging reeds, which didn't happen. Got some sore spots in jaw from working untrained muscles.
Thanks
