Hello, I was wondering if there's anyone here who live in Perth?

I'll be there on vacation for a week from the 7th - 14th December.

Would like to know where I can shop for harp related equipment (harps, mics, etc) in Perth. Are there any mic techs? Might want to bring my stock Blues Blaster for an element replacement while I'm at it.

The other thing is I would really love to know where the blues joints are. Are there places with live harp and blues? Any chance for me to check out open mics too??

And of course, I would love to make some new friends along the way.

Thanks. :)

G'day Zin

I live on the opposite side to Perth ie a long way.

Perth is a lovely place but I would make sure to take your harps with you. Buying Harps in Oz is often 'order and wait a few weeks' or be happy with what they have in stock which is usually not much. And, I make this statement not really knowing the music scene in Perth but larger cities like Sydney, Melb & Brisbane are all difficult to buy what you want when you want it.

Before all the financial mess I used to get Harps by mail order from the US but now its too expensive so I make sure I have spares and order ahead from a local store in Brisbane. They get me Lee Oskars & Bluesmasters but I have to wait sometimes a month or more.

Can't help you with info on mics amps etc or on blues joints. I'm sure they are there.

You could contact West Coast Blues Club ie look at their site for info on whats happening
