Hello all and Merry Christmas to all those who celebrate it.

My gift list was all harmonica related as I am a beginner and I wanted more harps in different keys. I got a Bushman in F and D, a Suzuki Promaster in E (wanted to try one_ 2 Lee Oskar 7 harp cases, Lee Oskar tool kit,and a Harmonica Man hat and a Harmonica related tee shirt. Rumor has it I have a Bushman coming in in key of A from my nephew. Oh yeah, I got a Coach Wallet too. I did not get a microphone or amp (did not ask for one), and promised my wife I would not practice today. As a beginner, my sounds are not sought after.

I hope everyone has a great holiday if you use it. We do here.

Now I'm wailing on my brand new Marine Band 1896 in C. I haven't got a decent C for a long time and this is different from everythng I've tried. That is the tone!

Hi, Merry Christmas. My teenage daughter bought 3 hohners for me for Christmas - a B-flat pro, a D big river and a G blues harp. When I say she bought them, I actually mean I bought and paid for them and then she confiscated them, wrapped them and forbade me from playing them until after Santa had been. Good thing I had tried them all out before I got home!

Dan,
How do you like the DF's? I've been trying to score one for 3 weeks online they seem to be as rare as Bigfoot.

Well,

As I have said on other posts here, they are about my favorites, big consider that I have only been playing for a few months. In fact, I got a Suzuki Promaster today as well and out of the box, the Deltas sound better to me. Suzukis have a lot of fans here, but so far my DF's, Seydel Blues Session in C, and Hohner sp20 in Bb seem to be my favorites. Coast2Coast has them, I think. That is where everyone ordered them from.

Got a Hohner Special 20 in the key of C! Also, Lee Oskars tool kit. I'm just glad I can finally play along in the key of C :) .

Got the mother of all gifts...at least in my book. Got clearance from the "war department"...(ie...momma) to go ahead and get my HG2 before a gig on New Years! Can't wait to get my hands on that bad boy.

What a woman!!!

Best wishes for a great New Year to everyone.

I got a few cool harps. Got a LO A natural minor ( sounds sooooo sweet) and a suzuki pure harp in D which is nice cause my old D was on its last leg. very nice tone. I also have a Michalek custom on the way which will hopefully be arriving soon.
