I am surprised I don't see or hear much talk about Fred Yonnet. His performance in this YouTube is only a taste of how powerful and amazing harmonica player he is.

The intensity and energy he puts into playing is incredible.
I don't believe you can say anyone is "The Best", but I would rate Fred Yonnet as one of the top harp players today.

I sure most of you have known about him for a long time. But I would also think some have yet heard of him.

I think he popped up in a thread or two a while back.

For me, he plays an awesome Star Spangled Banner, but I wasn't real excited by his version of Little Wing, despite all the energy he put into it.

I guess I like to listen to him play for his technical mastery, but I'm not running out and buying his CD.

I think Carlos Del Junco is one of the best harp players today, and he doesn't get talked about alot on here either.

Different strokes for different folks I guess.
