I'm trying my best to learn fundamentals, changes, timing etc. The Jam tracks with Charlie Hilbert were very helpful, I love how Charlie emphasizes the changes. I've bought/seen all Adam has provided on 12 bar blues.
There is this beat and groove I find infectious, when I hear it goosebumps erupt. I call it "Junior Kimbrough/R.L. Burnside/Hooker" groove.
I need some help and homework assignment. I'm totally lost at what's going on in the following R.L. cut titled "Slippin and Slidin". Any help extremely appreciated, I'm sorry if this seems ridicoulus but I want to roll with this beat, it lights me up. I've got the harp I need to either A or C, I don't have a C to test it with.
Here is the link, I'm hoping the clip is enough for you. I purchased the song and the clip is a good sample.

You need an A harp.

Thanks King,It seems the change happens a bar or two late, driving me nuts. I'm gone to do some snooping on 8 bar blues for now.

Chris,
If you like that sort of hill country groove and want to hear good examples of harp being part of it, check out Moreland and Arbuckle as well as Collard Greens and Gravy.
