Guys is there any other Harp players out there in NZ particularly Auckland?

I'm up in Massey if there is any one interested out there?

Do you fancy meeting up to exchange notes?

I think I would be a good learning exercise to meet another player....what level are you at? I guess I am around intermediate/adv intermediate and play by puckering.

Funny, I just went past there this morning. I am a beginner I guess. I can bend notes and so forth, and play bits and pieces. I have made it my project this year to get serious. Some kind of Auckland Harp Addicts Support Group sounds like a good idea.

I was over nere Beach Haven on Saturday in Glenfield mall.
There is a guy over here that does lessons in Titirangi on a saturday, I have been going along this term and have been studying music theory mostly. It is hard work but I has helped figure out more of the technical side of things. He does beginner workshops that are popular so there must be others out there.

It is good to meet other players as it opens you up more as a player.

email me at if you fancy meeting up- mchlcotton@aol.com
