1971: There's a thread dated Jan.28, about 2 and 3 hole bend. might help to get you started. There is a lot of info on bending if you check some previous discussions.

Welcome to the forum!
I'm new around here as well and still in my first month of playing the harmonica. Some things are definitely easier to grasp than others; however, bending is not one of them...At least for me!
There are definitely a lot of helpful people on the forum and a ton of great ideas, tips, and techniques to be found via the "search" function. Since I have not been able to find an instructor in the St. Louis area, I am attempting to teach myself to play using various harmonica-related video lessons (YouTube), websites, and forums.
IMHO, it helps trying different approaches and/or suggestions when learning various playing techniques, because some just click better than others…The key is finding the method that works for you.

Welcome! I'm pretty new as well. Out of curiosity, have you ordered Adam's first set of lessons? He has one lesson on the 4 hole bend and he gives a number of suggestions on different ways to learn to bend. I don't know why, but for me it came very easily. Thank God! lol
If you haven't purchased his first set of lessons, I would highly recommend it. I thought they were well worth the $17.

If you are primarily concerned with Bending you can also order Bending The 4 Draw individually ($5 for Video and $1.50 for Tab Sheet). I am already learning from some other sources for basic tunes and I just wanted something on bending so I just ordered Adams 4 Hole Bend video, I got bending action happening after just one watch. Got a lot of work to do on controlling the bend but the fact that I was able to lower the pitch for even a moment tells me the video is well worth it!! Once I am done with the 4 draw I will look at getting the 2 draw bend video, then finally the 3 draw video.
