Hi Guys,
Ive had a new daughter arrive this week, Jorja Cate, beautiful little girl, bought her home today. Mum and baby home now and doing well. Shes got long thin fingers, might make a good backup guitarist oneday ( wishful thinking ).
Been busy looking after the other two while Mum in hospital, hardly touched the harp in around a week, and having severe withdrawal symptonms.
All sleeping now, and I'm having a good old blow out in the woodshed, but not the blues tonight :-)

Congratulations! Guitar? Why not harp. I'll bet she can hold one when she's 6 months old.

Congratulations! Kids are wonderful. I have a son, and also a daughter. Now, like myself and many proud fathers, you get to spend the next 21 years of her life figureing out what you can do to keep her from dancing on poles.
Good luck!

Congratulations! My son's birth, 3 years ago this St. Paddy's Day, was one of the greatest days of my life. (Marrying his mother was another. I'm tempted to add, "And seeing James Cotton opening for the J. Geils Band in a college gym in 1975," but only harmonica players would understand; anybody else would be scandalized.)
That's fantastic news. Thanks for letting us share it.

Congrats Tryharp: This sure will be a special and unforgettable time for you and your family.
I have two grown sons ( at least their age says they're grown ). When they were small, we sang and sang childrens songs all the time. They now are muscians and have opened up for national acts.
They have their own style of music ( not blues ) but thats ok. they are out there doing it. I believe all that singing had something to do with it.
They are great kids! They are probably the only "Eagle Scouts" who are the lead frontmen in a Punk Rock Band. But thats ok.
Again congradulation and sing, sing, sing to that new baby!

Congrats! Time to learn some lullaby's to play for your child. What a wonderful opportunity to deliver something like music to sooth a young soul. I have two kids myself - both over 21 yrs. old. Make sure to enjoy the time as it goes by so fast...
