Hi Adam, just wondering if you have any plans to make a trip down south to Florida anytime soon. I was one of the guys who attended your impromptu workshop in the park at Gulfport!

Just downloaded a lot of your lessons and hope to keep on moving with them.

I must compliment you on the "Help me" lesson, amazing stuff, very informative and broken down in a practical manner.

I've progressed further in the last two days than I have in months of trying to get that solo! Brilliant work, I'm very excited about getting to grips with the rest of your instructional materials. I've been playing for 3 years now but have downloaded your beginners stuff, to work through first.

Thanks for the wonderful resource you're giving us all.

Johnster:

Well now, that's the nicest testimonial I've gotten in many months. Thanks!

I have no immediate plans to be in Tampa, although of course I love to visit with and play with Sterling. Plane tix are expensive, and these days my time is very pressed with a sabbatical research project. I probably won't be back down there until next fall sometime, maybe even not till mid-December 2009. But he plays ever Tuesday at that cafe in Gulfport, and I've heard that he lets harp players sit in....

You're very welcome on the testimonial sir. Sorry you won't be down anytime soon, but be sure and let us guys from the Suncoast harmonica Club know when you firm up some plans! I hear ya on the cost of tix, they certainly ain't getting any cheaper.

I didn't know about Sterlings regular gig at the Cafe, guess I'll take a mosy on over there and check it out!

Thanks again Adam! Harp on! Have fun in Memphis!

Johnster: I can't help Adam with the flight, but he's welcome to stay in my cottage on Tampa Bay, close to the gandy bridge. Its usually sittin empty.

I hear they have a blues open mic, on mondays, at the Green Iguana On West Shore Drive.

Can you send me info on your harmonica club. I'm not down there to often, but I'd be intersted in Jammin!

That's very generous of you KC, hopefully Adam will take you up on the offer!

http://suncoastharmonicaclub.org

is the website for our harp club. A great group of guys, at all levels of playing. We meet every month or so, play harp, swap tips, try out Amps and gear etc, last month we had our own Jam in my back yard, very cool.

More the merrier, be good to have ya along.

If you need anyone to check up on that cottage for you, let me know ;)

Thanks Johnster: I checked out the web site, thanks again. I maybe down for a couple weeks in April. I'm down the street from the Green Iquana on West Shore Blvd. I would like to check out their blues open mic night. Dave's across the Gandy Bridge, on the St Pete side also has an open mic. I'll keep the info. Let you know when I make it down. Would like to Jam.
