I played a gig the other night with our band supporting another band. One of the the other band's members said 'harmonica is like a cream doughnut, everyone wants one, but not at every meal'. Not sure if that is a compliment or not :^$ I think it goes with what Paul Lamb said at the Gloucester Blues festival harp workshop... 'Less is More'. Hey Adam, when you gonna come to the Gloucester Blues fest [UK]?

Sounds like an insult to me. Lot of haters out there. Kinda' like how fat girls are fun--you just don't want your friends to see you with em'. Dig? SJ

Each Doughnut has a hole in the middle and this guy needs to stick something in there as he's obviously frustrated.

'harmonica is like a cream doughnut, everyone wants one, but not at every meal'
That's definitely true of guitar solos!
And drum solos. No, forget that - the last time anyone willingly listened to one of those was in 1971! ;-)
