What a great gig! I can't remember a more enjoyable time in recent memory. Hope is a serious musician her stage act is very polished. She really knows how to work a room and make people feel comfortable.
Playing with her is perfect for me. I have so much space to be creative and supportive. Yes she has odd forms to her music but after a few minutes we really got dialed into each other and had no issues.
We going to be a duo and plan to cut a demo in a couple of weeks. I'm proud to be playing in an area that is relatively untouched by the harmonica. Folk pop is the only label I can give it. I love that its not blues, not jazz, not country or folk... it's just music.
I was really impressed with Hope's singing ability. She really knows how to bring it on each an every song. She was very very real. This is somebody I can tour with and have the goal of changing how the harmonica is perceived.

the show wasn't recorded. It was a pretty small place but packed. There was no place that I felt comfortable leaving an unattended video camera.

Nice one Budda. Here in Australia we have alot of folk/pop or neo folk singer/song writers(as opposed to alot of delta/blues guitarist song writers,so I ve spent alot of time playing this stlye. It is a great source for harmonica players that like melodic playing, like you.Plus they always attract good vibe people. Its most definetly a sound that works very well with you.
