Yeah Brendan is great, maybe one of best in Scotland?
His vids really dont do him any justice, compared to his Gigs. I've seen him at a gig in glasgow and wow, the blues he played, couldnt beat it.

Yeah Brendans work is great. He also has compared a documentary on the Harmonica history of which the series is on youtube. Also his numerous youtube videos on Suzukis range of harps is worth viewing.
A year or so back I had a problem with a new Suzuki Chromatic which I had purchased online from the US. I did not think that I would be able to get the problem sorted as the Australian Suzuki agents are hopelessly non responsive but on phoning the US I was told to contact Brendan. I emailed Brendan & he responded almost immediately with very detailed instructions on how to implement a simple fix.
I think Brendan is a New Zealander now living in the UK.

He seems to usually have his harps tuned to "power tuning" which looks great- the upper octave is basically changed to be the same as first position upper octave. ---------- "Without music, life would be a mistake" -Nietzsche

Patrick Barker: Do you mean he plays the upper octave like in first position while the lower two octaves are played in second position? ---------- germanharpist, harpfriends on Youtube
