I was searching for my own mic, a Shure PE5-H and found nothing. But the PE585 for sale here looks like a real find. Certainly somebody here would be wise to start the bidding.

Heck, if you search "shure vintage microphone" on eBay, a whole lot of great stuff comes up. Just ignore the ads for the "Elvis" mics and studio mics. Lots of stuff:

Green bullet- $20!!!! its nice too
I have that Pe585, got itfrom my grandpa, I plugged it in and it worked great..and the next morning, it didn't worat all. Is there a place i can send it to have it fixed?

Id be much too afraid of purchasing something that needed repairs from ebay and not knowing where to take it. Though, I probably should start considering mics/amps to purchase.

The pignose 7-100 sounds good to me but I wouldnt know where to start looking for mics or which one to get at about the same price.

The problem with Ebay is that in the last hour people bid stuff up beyond what it is worth. But sometimes you get lucky.
