OK. It's time to fess-up everybody. How many of you have recorded your favourite blues harp riff into your mobile to use as a ring tone?
I recorded a nice blues riff into my wifes phone a while ago and it's set as the ring tone that will play but only when I call her. Whenever she's anywhwere that I'd like to get a little musical exposure (or just want to show off), I just give her a ring.
When I'm not blowing, I'm drawing.

Not me, but one of the ladies at our club captured a clip of the intro of our club doing The Blues Is My Business. It works for her.

I have lots of harp ring tone, my phone came with a MP3 trimmer, so any mp3 can be trimmed down to a ring tone, my current ring tone is the "Help me" solo of SBII.
Whammer Jammer, Creeper, Worksong, All aboard, the list goes on, i switch them out as the novelty wears off!

I can't do a different ring tone when different people call. If I could, my wife's calls to me would be announced with the opening lyrics to "Mercedes Benz"

Paul Butterfield's "Born IN Chicago" harp riff, I get a lot of complimentary comment when it plays.

Hah Hah! I must admit I have totally done that. My main ringtone is a little riff I recorded myself. The ringtone for when my wife calls me is Igor Flach's "Yalla Majnoon", which is appropriate because is it Arabic for "going crazy"! ---------- -------------- The magnificent YouTube channel of the internet user known as "isaacullah"
