Shure-

I was looking the "Stats" on my mics, and I said what the hell.... I'll look for Gussow's mic. I found this Pdf. It looks like a user's manual..anyway there's a bunch of useful stuff about different models if you have any shure mics.

Hey: Miles / Superchucker or any help I can get. I've been waiting for this thread. Thanks!! I have a PG57 shure instrument mic. I was told it is similar/the same as the SM57. can you guys give me some info :

I thought at first my PG was heavy and a larger diameter. Yesterday I used an SM57 and it was very similar in weight. Much smaller in diameter.

We all know that it's a great harp mic just from Mr. Gussow's tone if nothing else but I don't think this mic is all that common (probably not rare either though). There are plenty of other good random good shure mics out there, from bullets to modern sm 57's, 545s, commandos, etc. I guess my point is there's no need to be particularly attached to getting one specific mic when there are plenty of other cool mics of similar quality out there.
