R there any links to a free Bendometer. The only one I find is 25 bucks a year. Im a beginner and need all the help I can get. Thanks

i don't know of any comparable freeware program...

For $25 you should be able to get a simple cheap keyboard from eBay, That would do the trick. ---------- When I'm not blowing, I'm drawing.

Any chromatic tuner will do something similar to what Bendometer does. There are various free (as in Open source) software chromatic tuners and cheap handheld tuners. None of them show a harmonica or light up holes on the picture of a harmonica as you play like the Bendometer does. That stuff, IMO, is only useful to beginners anyway. Once you get good enough you don't need the bendometer (and hence you won't renew your subscription). A good chromatic tuner will be useful FOREVER! FWIW I was never able to get the Bendometer to work on my computer. I had too recent a version of the JRE (Bendometer is Java), and the Bendometer was not forward compatible to my version of Java ---------- -------------- The magnificent YouTube channel of the internet user known as "isaacullah"
