Four years ago my best Christian brother ( Jim ) and I were brought together through a retreat. We both said: Lets spread the word of God through music. With that Harps to Halos was formed. Suddenly we were givin almost every thing we needed. Mics.,P.A. system, alot of the needed hardware, (cables mic stands etc.) With in 6 months we grew to 4 members. Today we have 7. All of us are comitted to this music ministry. We are totally non-profit. All moneys received from love offerings and donations go into a fund that is for our outreach program. We do the best we can to help the less fortionate with food, clothing, and maybe an electric bill. Last year we fixed up a car and gave it to a man that was out of work, his wife is handicap, and he is trying to take care of his ill parents.
Now we are finding out that becouse we are growing so is our needs. We need a couple of monitor speakers (floor type) and we need a mixer board ( someware between a 16 channel and a 24 channel). If anyone knows anyone that can help us out Please let me know. With the way the economy is our funds are getting thin. But we keep the faith and move on.
