Thank you for your music, your lessons and everything else. You're the reason that I stick to learning the harmonica.
Have a nice birthday and hope you get some donations today ;-)

Thanks, Marcus. I am 51 years young today. One thing that has clearly kept me young over the last couple of years is sharing my passion for the harmonica with people who are just discovering their own passion.
None of us get to stick around forever, but that's okay. Can you imagine being 213 years old? I don't want that. I'm OK with what I've got.
Somebody once said: It's not dying that scares us, it's not having lived. I'd encourage every harmonica player on this forum to practice joyfully, have fun with the instrument, and share their knowledge with somebody who is eager to learn.

Happy birthday Adam!
One of the things that has really struck me about the community you have created is it's global reach. I think a great gift for you would be to have forum members let you know in this thread where they are from, so you can see in one place the scope of what you've done. It's just an amazing example of positive and productive use of modern technology to further a common human bond. Hope that doesnt too over the top, but I'm sure you get what I mean.
Me, I'm from Massachusetts, USA

Happy birthday Adam! Thank you so much for this great site and forum. Even as a violinist, I've learned a lot of very helpful things here that will help me in playing blues stuff. And I agree with your advice about loving the instrument and having fun. That's what it's all about!

Adam,
A very happy 51st birthday. I remember mine. Yes, you never know what life has in store. Your work and sharing of knowledge, and the inspiration your free and not free lessons give to folks is a great gift to us. I hope you understand what you have brought to so many of us, especially a 61 year old beginner.
Be well.

happy birthday and many happy returns. ---------- My granddad gave me some sound advice on his deathbed. "It's worth spending money on good speakers," he told me.
